The Mardi Himal trek is a hidden treasure. Despite being a short trek, the satisfaction the trek provides is just matchless. The trek offers astonishing panoramic views of majestic mountains including Mt. Annapurna, Mardi Himal, Mt. Machhapuchhre, Mt. Dhaulagiri, and Mt. Manaslu, encounter rare wildlife such as musk deer, danphe, porcupine, and many more in verdant forests.
The 10-day-long Mardi Himal trek follows the ridge connecting the Modi Khola and Mardi Khola valleys. Passing through picturesque viewpoints like Kande, Pitam Deurali, Low Camp, Forest Camp, and High Camp, you will reach Mardi Himal Base Camp at last, which is at 4,500 meters above sea level. As you descend from the camp, you will follow the trail through Badal Danda, Sidhing, and Pokhara. And then finally drive back to Kathmandu.
Considering the weather and the rewarding views, the best time for the Mardi Himal trek is the months of February, March, September, October, and November.
This day marks your arrival day in Kathmandu, at Tribhuvan International Airport. Upon your arrival, our representative from Diverse Adventure will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the respective hotel. You will be introduced to your travel guide and travel partners on this day. Further, you may also take a short tour of Kathmandu.

On the second day, you will drive to Pokhara, the city of lakes, from Kathmandu. The journey to Pokhara offers delightful sightseeing of the Trishuli River and roadside shops including a fish market in Malekhu.
As you are about to reach Pokhara, you will be stunned by the alluring view of the sunset and the mountain ranges encompassing Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Manaslu, Mt. Machhapuchhre, and Annapurna mountain range.
After around 6 to 8 hours of driving, you will reach Pokhara, the final destination for today. You may now freshen up and go for a short visit to the lakeside and explore the street markets, the beauty of the lakeside enhanced by the night lights.

The first-ever trek of the journey begins today. Wake up with the early view of sunrise and begin the adventurous journey. Within an hour of driving, you will reach Kande, located at 1,770 meters above sea level, enjoying the scenery of mountain ranges.
Next, you will begin the trek along the stone-carved path to Pitam Deurali, a village at an altitude of 2,100m and popularly known as a stopover for the Annapurna Base Camp trek. After 2 and a half hours of ascending through dense forests boasting rhododendron, oak, birch, and hemlock, and passing through Australian Camp and Pothana, you will reach Pitam Deurali, today’s destination.

Continuing the trek you will leave Pitam Deurali in the early morning and trek up to Low Camp (2,950m). It is considered the most adventurous and challenging part of the trek as the trail becomes narrower and more steep as you move ahead. Yet the breathtaking vistas of mountains will make the journey worthwhile. Following the narrow steep path for around 3 hours you will reach Forest Camp (2,600m).
As you step up to the height of Low Camp, you will recognize the dense forests turn to widespread grassland. Low Camp offers you the first majestic view of Mardi Himal. Along with Mardi Himal, you will also be stunned by the amazing view of Mt. Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, and Hiunchuli.

Enjoying the serenity around and keeping up with the narrow steep trail, you will move toward High Camp, situated at an altitude of 3600m. Throughout the walk, you will witness a shady barren landscape, low alpine topography, and meadows. a variety of birds including kalij, white collared blackbird, Himalayan whistling thrush, spotted forktail, and many more.
The most exciting thing is the mind-blowing vista of Annapurna Massif awaits to welcome you to the High Camp.

Today is the day you eagerly awaited and suffered for the whole 5 days. Yes, you are heading toward Mardi Himal Base Camp this day.
Wake up early so that you can enjoy the most spectacular view of sunrise above the Himalayas, and carry on with your hike up to Mardi Himal Base Camp along the narrow rocky path. Mardi Himal Base Camp offers you a clear and close-up view of Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Tare Kang, Khangsar, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and Annapurna South. The day is going to be the most memorable day of your lifetime.
After spending some time at the base camp, you will now climb down to Badal Danda (3,300m) and stay overnight.
It is the last day of the trek. You will trek down to Sidhing Village (18,80m), from Badal Danda, leaving the Himalayas behind. Then you will drive back to Pokhara and overnight stay in Pokhara.
On the eighth day, you will drive back to Kathmandu along with the most beautiful memories of the Mardi Himal Base Camp trek. Our representative will drop you at our hotel.
As the trek has already concluded, the day is whole yours. You may visit different heritage sites such as Basantapur Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Area, Swoyambhunath, and so on, or you may also do some shopping in the popular markets of Asan and Indrachowk. As you get done with your day, you will return to the hotel and have a farewell dinner with the team.
The tenth day marks the departure day. Today a representative from Diverse Adventure will drop you at Tribhuvan International Airport.
